Invitation to Join

The Junior League of Alexandria includes executives, community leaders, entrepreneurs, mothers and professional women from diverse backgrounds.  As an organization, we remain committed to empowering our members to serve as catalysts for positive change throughout Central Louisiana, working collaboratively with our non-profit partners.

The Junior League of Alexandria has been, and will continue to be, an instrumental force for positive change in our community.  The key to our success is a commitment to providing effective action through trained leaders and volunteers.  The League’s training and experience equips members to be the most effective in their volunteer work, while also fueling their commitment to community service in other areas.

The Junior League of Alexandria has many opportunities for members to make new friendships, and stay connected with each other beyond our community and event offerings.  Beyond the member’s placement for the year we offer “a little something extra” called League Lagniappe.  Although it is not required to attend, most members look forward to finding out what the lagniappe is for the month because they know it will be interesting and fun for them and their invited guests!
